Well, it's 2008. There are a lot of things that are gonna happen this year. In fact last year I was working on a lot of things, that will come into fruition this year. The big news is that I have started a band with John Spo and the Scro! We are called 'The Entertainment Resistance', and we have played two warm up shows so far. But at the end of this month we will be going into the studio to record our first, full length album. So that means new music will be coming soon. Second, Richie and I have started rehearsals with a new band and will be playing songs from our 2 Part Invention album, very soon.

Hello. Richie Castellano and I audtioned bass player last week, and we thinks we got one. Once we start rehearsing, we'll start to book some shows and then you will be able to experience 2 Part Invention LIVE!!!

Hello. The past year has been very busy. I was working on an independent horror movie. I was doing post work for it. I was doing dialogue editing, and writing and recording music for it. It’s called “Last Rites of the Dead”. It appeared in the NYC Horror Film Festival and won 2 awards. One award for screenwriting and one for best actress. That took up most of the year. I also played a show with Hit Me With It and a new band Bronsky. I’ve also started to work with a new band this year and you’ll be hearing more about that later. Thanks for stopping by.

Well it’s been awhile since I have said anything here. The 2 Part Invention CD release party was a great success. Thanks to everyone that was apart of it. I had a blast. We had to audition a keyboard player and I think we got one. So we are starting to do some rehearsals and gonna book some shows. 2 Part Invention has myspace and purevolume pages. It’s been a great summer of gigging, beaches, traveling and vacationing. I have been playing this summer with Dana Athens, J Freak, Todd Davidson and even Hit Me With It. And each of these bands have been writing new songs. Richie Castellano, Chris Kuffner and I went back to our high school, Curtis, and rocked out for an assembly. It was great. Richie and I are completing our album. It is being pressed right now. It's called 2 Part Invention. The CD has 15 original songs and a great cover of the Temptations, “Get Ready”.

The Richie Castellano/ Andy Ascolese album is finally mixed. I am so happy. Now we just gotta get it mastered, put some pictures and some artwork in it and get it pressed. I have also been getting ready to play with J Freak. We are playing at the Lions Den in NYC on May 6th and 7th. We are gonna add a new song to our repertoire.

Welcome to my website. Right now I'm getting ready to play with J Freak in May. I love playing with these guys. I am also working on the Castellano/Ascolese album. Hopefully it will be out very soon. It's been alot of fun recording with Richie. Check back soon for Updates.
